2019 sees the re-introduction of our vegetable tanned leather jackets.
Vegetable tanning is a process that has been around for hundreds of years and is one of the oldest methods used to tan hides. It’s traditional, artisanal and a thorough process, as it can take months to complete. The process utilises tannic acids naturally found in plants, tree bark and other natural elements and begins by immersing the hides in natural tannins to become leather. It creates the most natural feeling leather and will develop a more organic look that will gain more character over time.
