It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… *cue the merry music, mulled wine drinking, snow falling and mistletoe*.
We might be slightly biased but there really is no better place to visit than the Lake District around Christmas time. We can’t think of a better feeling than immersing yourself into the outdoors - the crisp winter air mixed with breath-taking views of snow-topped mountains and icy waters. Not to mention the abundance of winter wildlife – how many Robins will you spot?
Scenery aside, the Lake District also hosts a variety of Christmas events and we’ve pulled together a list of our favourite Christmas festivities not to be missed. There’s something for everyone no matter what age, the whole family can get into the Christmas spirit. If you’re not feeling Christmassy already you will after reading this!
